If you have technical
questions with regard to the use of DWGgateway, you may:

To install DWGgateway and create PDF
documents:
1) Download product
and install (respond to prompts).
2) To create a PDF
document from within AutoCAD:
a) A document must be opened
b) Select the "Create PDF" menu selection from the
DWGgateway menu
or select the "Create PDF" toolbar icon from the
DWGgateway toolbar
c) The "Page Setup" dialog will be presented to
you to select your options.
recommended settings:
i) Select your correct paper size.
ii) Select "Extents" in Plot area frame.
iii) Select "Scaled to Fit" in Plot scale frame.
iv) Select "Center the Plot" checkbox in the Plot
offset frame.
d) Select "OK" on the Page Setup dialog.
e) Select the name of the PDF file you wish to create.
f) You are done (and the PDF reader will open if installed)
with your PDF.
3) The PDF version
that is created is version 6. You must have version
6 or higher of Acrobat® Reader® software installed
in order to view your PDF document.


Please note:
If you are using AutoCAD R14, you
will not be able to create PDF documents using DWGgateway
at this time. We are currently investigating support
for AutoCAD 14 in our next release of DWGgateway. All
other functionality is supported for AutoCAD R14.
If you are using
Windows 95, 98 or ME, you must have windows installer present
on your computer. You can download windows installer
from the following link:
